Here’s how we can build a site with you in two weeks.
And look - this process isn’t for everyone. But if you can commit $10,000 and two weeks, we promise you’ll have a high quality, reliable website that looks great (even on phones).
Day 1
We’ll have a kick off meeting via Zoom. Expect up to 4-hours of questions and conversation not just about your website dreams but also your business dreams. Let’s talk long term goals, audience, and current results.
How it Works
Day 2
Based on our kick off meeting, we’ll create a few design and architecture options. We’ll work on 3-4 high level design ideas, along with a draft of the site map (what pages you should have and a rough idea of what should be on each page).
Day 3
We send those design options to you so you’ll have those to review on this day. Show it to employees, friends, or anyone else you want to in order to get feedback and edit ideas. In our minds, the more feedback the better so don’t be shy.
Day 4
Send us all of that feedback. Forward emails to us, write a novel, send a voice note or video - we’ll handle it in any format you want to use.
Day 5
We’ll do another round of edits and revisions so we can get closer to your goal. If we listen well we’ll nearly have it nailed at this point.
Day 6
Just like Day 3, we’ll get those revisions to you, narrowing in on a single concept that should be close to what you want.
Day 7
Again, send it around. Get folks’ ideas. Weigh in yourself. We’ll take any and all feedback in whatever form you want.
Day 8
With those edits and ideas, we’ll keep tweaking. It’ll be focused and hitting on the design theme and structure you want and need.
Day 9
With the design and map finalized, we’ll add in words, pictures, video, and any other elements your site needs. We’ll send a fully built and functional site on this day for you to read and proof.
Day 10
Like the rounds prior, you get us feedback on that. Tell us what you do and don’t like, if any photos need changing or moving around, or if the copy doesn’t convey what you want it to.
Day 11
With that input, we’ll make any changes and start optimizing your site (metadata, tags, SEO, etc.). We’ll make sure all the components under the hood are in working order.
Day 12
This will be the final round of any changes you have for us. After this point, you’ll learn how to login and change any of the basic elements (words, images, etc.).
Day 13
We’ll test drive your beautiful and functional new site. We’ll click all the links to make sure they go to the right place, test your email collection form, etc.
Day 14
It’s all yours! We train you and anyone on your team how to operate the new site and make small changes. You’ll have all the logins and ownership will be transferred to you.
Of course, we’ll be available after the site launches for any quick or clarifying questions. Additional work will incur additional fees but if we do our job well, you won’t need us.
And there is a Day 0 - a list of work we’ll ask you to do before Day 1 (like collect photos, example sites, etc.). As long as you’re willing to do this work, our two-week timeline will be a breeze and your new site will be ready quickly and effectively.
